3 Beauty tips for the month!

Tip #1:

To make your lashes pop, mix your mascaras! Use one coat of lengthening and one coat of volumizing mascara. Afterwards, evenly separate lashes with a disposable wand.

Tip #2:

Revive Tired Eyes Fast!
Run a couple of tea bags under hot water at first, and then cold water. Hold them over your eyes for at least 5 minutes. Watch fast results!

Tip #3:

The Start and End
Line a pencil or brush end straight up against the side of your nose to see where your eyebrows should start. The swivel it around about 45 degrees towards temples to see where brows should end.

Hello, all of you lovely lovelies out there! I guess you guys can conclude that I am horrible at updating this blog! But, I'm sure that you all know about the stress of life! Just a few (long) days ago, my mom sprained her ankle, and I have to had to help her with the housework, getting her food, making food, running errands, etc.. Plus school work on top of that! I guess I should let you know sooner, but it was just that crazy and busy! She is still needing help, but is has slowed down a little. 

Ok, so on to the tutorials! I haven't had time to upload the looks yet, but I have already completed some of them. I just have to re-do the look (which I will do tonight), take pics, and upload them. So, you can be SURE that I will upload them early tomorrow or the next day! The peacock look is still the first to come! It was just delayed a bit! 

I do have some exciting news for you all (which I'm sure you know about already just from reading the title)! Once I reach around 50 subscribers, I will be doing a NYX cosmetics giveaway!

Halloween Tutorials!

So, we all know that Halloween is coming in little over a month! Now is the time to start deciding what you are going to be for Halloween! So, I have decided to start doing tutorials beginning on Monday! I will upload one every other day so be checking back! Here's what the schedule looks like!

Oh dear!

Oh, dear! I realised I have not posted something in 8 days! Shame on me! School work has taken over my life! :O SO, to make up for my folly, I have a picture for you found on www.cakewrecks.blogspot.com! I was surfing the web and came across this AMAZING makeup cake! Here is a picture of it:

Holy amazingness! How cool is this?!! I nearly had a heart attack! I love the detailing! Whoever made this cake deserves a hug! :D I think my favorite part of the cake is the makeup bag with the MAC makeup peeking out!

Just an explanation. . .

Hello, everyone! 

So, I realise that my posts haven't been very long or really exciting. And that is because I do the posts last minute. Seriously... I don't even plan my posts. I just search around the internet for pictures and whatever pictures I find, I plan my post around that. :P

The reason I came to the blog world was to share information about makeup that I am passionate about. Like for example: I know that most people can't afford expensive makeup like MAC or Bobbi Brown. So, I came on here to help you all create looks that are MUCH more affordable but that can look just as good as MAC. Not all of my looks will be affordable makeup, just a few here and there for those who can't afford the higher end makeup.

Starting tomorrow, I think I will try to make my posts more interesting and make them a little more planned so that they are.. well... more exciting. I did not even make an introduction to this channel. 

So... Hello! My name is Lu. That is not my birth name but more of a nickname I created for the blog world. I am 16 years old so if my posts seem amateur, it is merely because of my age.  

Here on this blog you will find reviews, hauls, pictures of collections (provided I can get my hands on the pictures), looks, tips, and much more. I hope in the upcoming months to expand my posts to things other than just makeup as I know that makeup itself can be boring when posted about all the time. I like fashion, and other things beauty such as nails or hair so you will start seeing tutorials or reviews and pictures of hair and nails. Venomous Villains MAC collection!!

Hello Lovelies! Hope you are ALL having a great Tuesday morning!

I don't know about you, but I am so excited for the new MAC collection that is going to be coming out September 30th in the U.S. and sometime in October internationally! The Venomous Villains collection has got me drooling over the beautiful embossed packaging and the deep, dark colours perfect for the upcoming Fall and Winter months!

3 Beauty tips for the week!

Beauty tip #1: 

Thin lips?

Start off with a rich color of lip liner and line the lips. Add gloss in the center of the lips to add depth. Lip plumpers can also be used to make lips appear fuller!

Beauty tip #2: 

Want bigger eyes?

Wear a darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease. Use a flat color under the brow to highlight.

Beauty tip #3: 

Want your lipstick to last longer?

Apply your favourite lipstick and then set with a finishing powder! It's that simple!
